Who can reserve rooms?
Only current CLC students with a valid CLC email address may reserve rooms for study.
How do I confirm my reservation?
You must use the email sent to your CLC email address to confirm your reservations. Confirmations must take place within 15 minutes of your booking. Failure to confirm your booking will result in the time being released to another user to book.
When can rooms be reserved?
Rooms may be reserved online up to one week in advance anytime up to next available time slot.
How long can I have the room for?
Rooms are reserved in 30 minute increments for a maximum of 3 hours per day. You may stay beyond your reserved time if no one else has reserved the room at that time. You may not reserve repeated hour or half hour increments leaving only half hour open blocks between bookings to extend your own booking time.
You will receive an email confirming your reservation that includes a link you can use to cancel your reservation. If you will not be able to use your booking, we request that you cancel your reservation so another party can reserve the room. The Library reserves the right to cancel any reservation not in accordance with study room policy.
Room reservations will be held for 15 minutes. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the reservation will be considered canceled and the room will be available for others to use until the next booking.
Anyone who reserves a room is expected to clean up after themselves and leave the room ready for the next group. Please note: The CLC library is not responsible for items left unattended in the study rooms.
Unreserved Time Slots
All study rooms are available on a first come, first served basis. If the room is unreserved through the booking system, any student may use the room until the next confirmed booking occurs.
These rooms are a shared resource. Please be conscientious of others and share these rooms in a spirit of cooperation. If a problem arises, contact library staff at the Reference Desk or Circulation Desk or chat with us online.
